Friday 15th May - walks **** – Waldringfield and Newbourne with Maeva – mainly cloudy.

We had a lunch date with friends Georgia and Tom in Waldringfield so picked Maeva up a little later today at 11. We had hoped to go and check out the new playground at Bucklesham but we didn’t had time so headed straight to Waldringfield Church to park with Maeva being non-stop chat! We started off walking down to the River Deben through wheat fields which are coming along really well with Maeva now carrying our large green umbrella set against some really cool clouds :) We reached the sailing club and discovered that the tide was very high but dropping and we only had enough beach to make it to the Maybush and even had to climb over a tender and we had the buggy! It was only a short distance to our lunch date which went really well, Maeva was a little quiet but ate loads and we had a lovely catch-up :) We then had to walk back across the fields to the van to make the short drive to the park at Newbourne for a go on the swings and zip-wire including a walk down to the stream to play poo-sticks and were lucky enough to spot a fox on the way! Then home with a very tired Maeva for a biscuit and yet more Peppa Pig, another top Friday!!!
